For the second year now, the Pediatric Assembly, organized by the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, has become a significant scientific and educational event for specialists from both our country and foreign colleagues.
As part of the “The Future is Now” section, Robert Fitagdinov, Data Scientist at the Laboratory for Clinical Decision Support Based on AI Technologies, gave a presentation on “A system for analyzing medical records for the early diagnosis of juvenile arthritis.” Robert spoke about the features of training an AI system for analyzing medical text data and the indicators achieved within the framework of the Laboratory of Indicators project.
A key aspect of developing a DSS for pediatricians and rheumatologists is targeting real problems, including late detection of juvenile arthritis by pediatricians due to the rarity of the disease. Timely identification of disease histories using AI-assisted screening technologies will reduce patient disability.
