On September 21, 2023, the III International Summit on Digital Medicine and Information Technologies in Healthcare “Digitalitmed” was held on the basis of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. The event was attended by more than 600 participants, representatives of the medical community, the business community, public and government figures, healthcare organizers, developers and programmers.
Doronkin Maxim, leading Data Scientist of the Laboratory for Supporting Medical Decision Making Based on AI Technologies, during the thematic session “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine” spoke about trends in the CDSS market in the Russian Federation and the developments of the Laboratory: CDSS for a pathologist and CDSS for a pediatrician and rheumatologist using technology AI. He also shared insights about working on MedTech projects: the importance of analyzing the solutions of competitors and conduction customer development interviews before starting work, the peculiarities of attracting doctors to work on artificial intelligence projects, the choice of problems solved by AI methods, etc.
The summit is held with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. The summit gave participants the opportunity to communicate through discussions and round tables, get acquainted with experts and the latest developments in the field of medicine and startups involved in their development.
